Extend - How to log a claim


Use the following process when logging a extend PPP claim on behalf of a TDG guest: 

1. Login to website 

a. https://merchants.extend.com/login 


Note: New users will receive an email from Extend to finish creating their account which includes the team member creating a password for the login to be activated.  

Once you login for the first time, it will ask you to create a new password once more. Once this is done, you will be brought into the main page of Extend. 


2. While in the main page of Extend you will see the following: 

      a. Type = This will always say ‘Product’ 

      b. Transaction ID = Sales Order Number 

      c. Trans Date = Date of possession 

      d. Customer Name = Guest name 

      e. Customer Email = Guest email 

      f. Prod Name = Item Description  

      g. Contact ID = Does not pertain to us 

      h. Plan Price = This is always $0.00 on the site 

      i. Status = Active

3. In the Transaction ID field, enter in the guest’s sales order number and press Search 

4. Click on the order 

5. Select File a Claim (top right corner of screen)

6. You will now be directed to the Filing a Claim screen. In here we will need to validate the following guest details: 

      a. Name 

      b. Email address 

      c. Phone number 

      d. Full shipping address 


7. Press Continue once verified

8. Enter in the date of incident (select from calendar). Then press Continue.

9. Select the box of where the damaged occurred and press continue

10. Select the box to inform what product or section of the product has experienced damage or failure. 

11. Select the box to advise the type of damage or failure 

12. Provide a description of how this occurred. Helpful info would include what caused the damage and the current state of the furniture. Then press Continue. 

  

If your claim is approved, you will receive the following message:
