1. Overview

In this article we will discuss the cancellation policies for AHS and DFA, the warranty period terms, and extended warranty period terms, as well as definitions for defects. 


2. Prior to Possession, AHS - Cancellation

  • AHS guests can cancel their order without any fees up to 48 hours post-purchase. After 48 hours a 10% administration fee will apply. 
  • No administration fee will be charged if guest wants to cancel due to product delays. A product delay is defined when the ATP date on the order is past the requested date on the order.  
  • If we are unable to land the item (pick up or delivery) after three attempts, we will offer a full refund. 

3. Prior to Possession, DFA - Cancellation

  • DFA guests can cancel their orders without any fees up to 30 days post-purchase. After 30 days a 10% administration fee will apply. 
  • No administration fee will be charged if guest wants to cancel due to product delays. A product delay is defined when the ATP date on the order is past the requested date on the order.  
  • If we are unable to land the item (pick up or delivery) after three attempts, we will offer a full refund. 

4. Within Warranty Period

  • If we are unable to replace the item in three attempts, we will offer a full refund. 
  • If merchandise is approved for exchange and the item was a pickup, free delivery service will be offered. (within delivery area, exceptions are accessories) 
  • If the item has been approved for an exchange and is no longer available from the manufacture, we will allow the guest reselection of the defective item(s) 

5. Within Extended Warranty Period

  • If repair costs, exceeds the price of the unit, we will replace over repair 
  • If merchandise is approved for exchange and the item was a pickup, free delivery service will be offered. (within delivery area, exceptions are accessories) 
  • If the item has been approved for an exchange and is no longer available from the manufacture, we will allow the guest reselection of the defective item (limited set warranties under Tutoris are the exception) 
  • We will never refund a guest under extended warranty 

6. Custom Orders, DFA

  • A guest is able to cancel their custom order, anytime prior to possession, with a 25% cancellation fee
  • A guest is able to reselect their custom order, within 48 hours of possession, with a 25% restocking fee
  • Returns are not permitted outside of the above parameters 

7. Defining the Difference Between Defects and Expectations

  • Manufacturing defect - A product issue is deemed a manufacturer defect when the construction, function, and finish of the product, or the materials used, and its workmanship do not meet the standard agreed upon between TDG and the Manufacturer. 
  • Customer expectations - A product issue is deemed a customer expectation when the construction, function, or the finish meets the standard agreed upon by both TDG and the manufacturer, and TDG and the customer, but still the customer perceives a discrepancy.
