1. Overview

TDG offers our guests the option of removal of old or repositioning services when they select our White Glove delivery. Additionally, guests who choose our Room of Choice delivery, can purchase these services at a cost of $15.00 per item. These are available on a one for one basis, on like items meaning if our guests purchase fridge, we will remove or reposition a fridge. Repositions and removal of old are not available for Drop Ship Prime deliveries. These services have to be noted on the sales order prior to delivery for them to occur. 

Removal of Old – Removing an item from the guest home and bringing it back to the distribution center at the end of the day for disposal 

Repositioning – Moving an item from one room to another room within the home 

2. Removal of Old & Reposition Codes

You must put the appropriate item number on the sales order for the service to occur. 

• Removal of old code is REMOVEOLD followed by the number of items 
• Example: REMOVEOLD1, REMOVEOLD2, REMOVEOLD3, etc. 
• Repositioning code is REPOSITION followed by the number of items 
• Example: RESPOITION1, RESPOITION2, REPOSITION3, etc. For like items only (Fridge for fridge, sofa for sofa) 
• Included in White Glove delivery fee. The guest can purchase with Room of Choice delivery service for $15.00 per item 
• Removal of old is not an option in GTA or British Columbia regions
• TDG will only offer repositions/removal of old for the same number of items the guest is having delivered

• Sofa to Sofa
• Sectional to Sectional
• Dishwasher to Dishwasher
• Sectional to Sofa & Love
• Queen bed to King (mattress and foundations)
• Chest to dresser
• Love to Sofa
• Table and chairs to Table to chairs
• Buffet & Hutch to server
• Freezer, similar size with on-site review prior to removal
• Range to wall oven (does not include disassembly)
• Microwave, built in or free standing (does not include disassembly)
• Compatible item in both size/dimension and weight

What We Don't Do:

• Sofa to sectional
• Dishwasher to Fridge
• Chair to sofa
• No additional items
• Disassembly is not part of the service
• 1 TV stand to 3-piece entertainment unit

4. Adding Repositions / Removal of Old to a Sales Order

When adding a reposition or removal of old to a Sales Order, the following procedure needs to occur: 

1. Go to Enter a Sales Order screen in Storis 
2. Enter the Sales Order number into the ‘Sales Order’ number field and press tab 
3. Select Merchandise tab 
4. Enter the removal of old / reposition code 

Removal of old code is REMOVEOLD followed by the number of items 

Example: REMOVEOLD1, REMOVEOLD2, REMOVEOLD3, etc.

Repositioning code is REPOSITION followed by the number of items 

Example: REPOSITION1, REPOSITION2, REPOSITION3, etc.

        5. Press Save
