1. Overview
Prior to booking possession dates with our guests, we need to determine their requested service chosen at the time of purchase. This will ensure that we are servicing the guest as originally committed at the time of sale.
2. How to Determine Possession Method Procedure
Use this procedure when determining the possession method:
- Go into the Sales Order
- In the ‘Customer’ Tab, determine the method of possession by reviewing the “Fulfillment Method” field.
Important! Is this expected to be delivered or is the guest picking up the goods?
3. Do one of the following:
a. If the guest is picking up the items, please review the workbook section “Steps to Arrange a Customer Pick Up”
b. If the guest is receiving a delivery through TDG, we now need to determine if this is a Drop Ship, Room of choice, or a White Glove delivery service. This will dictate what days of the week we can offer to the guest for delivery dates. To do this, go into the ‘Merchandise’ Tab, review the line items to determine delivery service chosen at time of purchase
