Delivery Planning is able to process add on deliveries when we are faced with escalated guest situations, including exchanges / returns / new deliveries, prior to the delivery run being sent to pick. Once the delivery is sent to pick, only the Transportation Manager at each Distribution Centre can approve an add-on delivery. Open Order Management is responsible for communicating all add-on delivery requests to Delivery Planning / Transportation. The following process map depicts the add-on delivery process for all stores serviced by the centralized Guest Care and Delivery Planning team.
